The Role
eMagine Solutions have been exclusively retained by a leading international media platform based in Dubai. The company is building out a new Data program and are now at the implementation phase for the MS Azure Data Lake. As such we are looking for 2 Power BI Developers / Engineers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ingesting data from a variety of data sources and performing required transformations using Power Query and Data Flows. \xe2\x80\xa2 Data modelling capabilities including designing effective BI data models in line with the Kimball methodology and best practice. \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing calculations in DAX which are accurate and performant on large datasets. \xe2\x80\xa2 Designing effective layouts and designs working closely with our digital design team to ensure optimal user experience and that accessibility requirements are met. \xe2\x80\xa2 Utilising the navigation features in Power BI (e.g., bookmarks, drill through) to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story. \xe2\x80\xa2 Working with our testing team to manage the processes around client User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and fixing any defects identified. \xe2\x80\xa2 Publishing reports via the Power BI service, managing them through distribution of apps and monitoring usage/data refreshes/security access (N. for large scale deployments this is often undertaken by our managed services team). \xe2\x80\xa2 Working closely with clients, gathering requirements and translating them. \xe2\x80\xa2 Shaping an approach for governance and deployment of Power BI in large organisations, including advising on licensing, distribution/sharing, training, support and best practices.

Requirements
Experience required: \xe2\x80\xa2 Power BI, DAX \xe2\x80\xa2 End-to-end Data Warehouse Development and Reporting \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong SQL and T-SQL experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Exposure to Azure cloud environment
