Job Description

Industry: Oil and Gas Contract: 6 months (renewable) Profile: Resource is expected to develop a framework on Power BI, develop reports and dashboards and publish implementing data security. The expected skill sets for the resource are as follows.

• Work experience in a related field and has completed 3-4 full implementations, providing the necessary proof for the same.
• Over five years of experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects in Power BI.
• Over five years of experience working with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS, TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, M and DAX, Power Automate
• Developed integrations between Oracle, SQL Server, Firebird, and other databases platforms
• Understanding of JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and other JavaScript libraries
• Developed and consumed Web API's using REST and SOAP.
• Experience with SQL Azure for storage and retrieval of BLOB.
• Over 3 to 4 years' experience in .Net programming developing Form, Web based applications.

• Various Microsoft stack Certifications.

The high-level roles and responsibilities of the resource are as follows:

• Configure Power BI Platform and data models.
• Integrate data from other implemented solutions via web services, native SQL, flat data sources.
• Create, consume, and expose data using Web Services.
• Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
• Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards
• Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools
• Create operational, functional, and interactive reports and dashboard, What-if analysis, Embed Power BI visuals into Power BI Apps.
• Be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions
• Share data, dashboards, and reports with other Power BI users implementing data security.
• Documenting, designing, and modelling solutions and explaining, representing, and discussing the same with the team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or Engineering
• Should have 3-4 end to end implementation on Power BI for a large organization

• Developing data models for tabular and multidimensional data and published tabular and multi-dimensional reports using time dimensions.
• Experience working with Microsoft BI Stack SSIS, SSAS, SSRS

• Strong technical knowledge in data preparation using - T-SQL, PL/SQL, web services, Excel
• Develop applications and services using Microsoft .Net
