Role x You JAX is a joint venture between VICE and MBC Group. JAX Media's primary directive is to create a leading platform for quality digital Arabic language content centered on modern culture anchored in Saudi Arabia. While this role will focus on the delivery of the JAX Media proposition, it should also support and responsibly represent VICE's growing presence in KSA more broadly.

The Role

As a key person on the Production team, you will report directly to the executive Producer - Vice Jax Riyadh. You will work closely with the production team to liaise and co-ordinate the post-production of our series. You will oversee and manage the post-production process of content produced for Vice JAX. This role is responsible for ensuring that the content meets the platform's quality standards and is delivered on time and within budget.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and manage the post-production workflow for multiple projects simultaneously. This involves working closely with various stakeholders, such as directors, editors, sound designers, and visual effects artists, to ensure smooth and efficient post-production processes.

Create and manage budgets and schedules for post-production activities. This includes estimating costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring that projects are delivered within allocated budgets and timeframes.

Ensure that the content meets the platform's technical specifications and quality standards. This may involve reviewing rough cuts, providing feedback to editors, and ensuring the overall quality of audio, video, and visual effects.

Collaborate with internal teams, including producers, directors, and creative executives, to understand the creative vision and goals for each project. Maintain effective communication channels with external vendors, post-production facilities, and freelancers.

Coordinate and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to support the post-production process. This includes hiring and managing freelance editors, and other post-production professionals.

Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the post-production process. This may involve troubleshooting technical problems, resolving creative differences, or finding alternative solutions to meet project requirements.

Continuously improve and optimize post-production workflows, incorporating new technologies and industry best practices. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in post-production techniques and tools.

Ensure that the final content meets all legal and technical requirements.

Coordinate the delivery of final assets to the platform's specifications, including video formats, audio configurations, and metadata.

QUALIFICATIONS

Fluent in Arabic and English

8 + years of experience in Post-Production preferably in KSA.

Strong communication skills.

Experience working in TV Series and Documentaries is necessary.
