Job Description

Role:

Own of project materials (Non-Stock and Stock) taking responsibility of procurement and delivered for the assigned projects.

Ensure that all the project materials are procured on time and delivered to site meeting the construction schedule.

Provide report to the sourcing officer and project engineer on status of procurement / delivery (materials tracking sheets for individual projects).

Coordinate with project engineers, design consultant and sourcing officers to ensure timely availability of materials.

Participate in material review with Project engineers, buyer, vendors and sub-contractors.

Co-ordinate with site materials controller and construction department or contractors to resolve materials issue in consultation with project engineer

Update and verify the contractor material shortage list through material controller.

To obtain and collate SPIRS from vendors & liaise with UEC/41 to ensure input into system.

Expedite vendors, discipline engineers, project engineers and other materials documentation users to ensure the document flow meets the project planning requirements.

Shall report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

Requirements

Education :

HND or a Bachelors degree in Engineering from an Approved establishment preferably in mechanical engineering but with a working knowledge of instrumentation and electrical discipline

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years experience in engineering discipline Experience with production engineering is desirable

Proficiency in the use of PCs and data management software and SAP

Specific Skilss:

Requires good general multi-discipline knowledge

Interpretation of Discipline GADs /ITP/WPS/PQR and timely Expedition to meet Project Delivery

Good interpersonal and communication skills. good spoken/written English, and PC literate. Management Reporting
