Job Description
Job Summary:
The PMV Manager is responsible for the planning, deployment, maintenance, and management of all plant, machinery, and vehicles used on project sites. This role ensures optimal utilization, minimal downtime, and cost-effective operation of equipment, complying with safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the mobilization, demobilization, and logistics of equipment to and from project sites. Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all PMV assets. Monitor equipment performance, fuel consumption, and utilization metrics. Coordinate with procurement for sourcing of spare parts, tools, and new equipment. Maintain asset records and update machinery inventory regularly. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. Lead a team of mechanics, operators, and maintenance staff. Recommend equipment replacement or upgrades based on condition and cost-benefit analysis. Collaborate with project teams to meet PMV needs for execution. Handle third-party equipment rental agreements and maintenance contracts.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Experience:
8-15 years in PMV management, preferably in construction/infrastructure projects.Technical Skills:
Equipment maintenance and diagnostics Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Familiarity with ERP/CMMS systemsJob Type: Full-time
Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month
