Job Description
The desired candidate must be able to perform below duties as minimum: Duties to be performed: Inspects and assesses the condition of static equipment/piping in accordance with the API (510/570/653) and ADNOC codes of plant inspection, and compiles written reports on findings and recommendations, puts in repair recommendations to user departments. Provides remaining life assessment, establishes next inspection interval Advises and recommends required repairs or replacements to defective plant and equipment and carries out further inspections after repair work to ensure conformity to approved standards and codes. Checks and approves modifications to plant and equipment in accordance with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s procedures for such work. Supervises any contracted inspection services and non-destructive testing services and interprets the results obtained. Issuing inspection reports, reflecting inspection actual conditions, and establishing/recording proper actions for follow-up, repair, etc. in order to ensure integrity compliance.
Educational Qualification and Experience Requirements: BSc in Mechanical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering API certified (API510/570/653/670). Must have above ground storage tanks inspection certifications and experience. 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a plant inspection function in the oil refining or petrochemical industry, including experience in controlling plant inspection records. Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
