Position Summary

The Plumbing Supervisor oversees, coordinates, and executes all plumbing works for interior construction/fit-out projects. This role ensures that plumbing installations--water supply, drainage, sanitary fixtures, and related systems--are completed safely, on time, and according to project specifications, quality standards, and local codes.

Key Responsibilities1. Planning & Coordination

Review plumbing drawings, specifications, and scope of work for interior fit-out projects. Prepare material requirements, manpower plans, and daily/weekly work schedules. Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers, HVAC, Electrical, and Civil teams to ensure smooth execution of MEP works. Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.

2. Site Supervision & Execution

Supervise and guide plumbers and subcontractors in executing installation of

water supply, drainage, sanitary ware, pump systems, water heaters, and PPR/CPVC/GI piping

. Ensure installations meet approved shop drawings, method statements, and quality standards. Inspect and verify work before concealment (pre-closing inspections). Oversee installation of plumbing fixtures and ensure proper testing (pressure tests, leak tests).

3. Quality Control & Compliance

Ensure all plumbing work complies with

local authority regulations, plumbing codes, and HSE requirements

. Conduct inspections and prepare snag lists, ensuring timely rectification. Verify material quality and ensure correct usage as per the project specifications.

4. HSE & Risk Management

Ensure site safety protocols are followed by all plumbers and workers. Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe working practices (confined space, hot work, working at heights, etc.).

5. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily site reports, manpower logs, material usage, and work progress updates. Maintain documentation for inspections, testing, and commissioning. Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience

Diploma/ITI in Plumbing, Mechanical, or related technical field.

5+ years' experience

in plumbing supervision within interior fit-out or construction projects. Strong knowledge of plumbing installation standards and materials. Experience with residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and office fit-out projects is preferred.

Technical Skills

Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings. Knowledge of water supply & drainage systems, pump systems, fire stopping around pipes, and fixture installations. Familiarity with PEX, PPR, CPVC, GI, copper, and HDPE piping systems. Understanding of testing and commissioning procedures.

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and team coordination skills. Good communication and reporting abilities. Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
