The Plumbing Supervisor oversees and manages all plumbing installation, maintenance, and testing activities for interior fit-out and construction projects. The role ensures work quality, compliance with drawings and specifications, coordination with other trades, and timely completion within project schedules.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Supervision

Supervise all plumbing works including water supply, drainage, sanitary fittings, and fixtures. Ensure all installations follow approved drawings, specifications, and project standards. Allocate tasks to plumbers and helpers; monitor daily productivity and workflow. Conduct inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety procedures.

2. Coordination & Planning

Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, and interior teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth workflow. Plan materials, tools, and manpower requirements for daily and weekly schedules. Assist the Project/MEP Manager in preparing work programs and progress updates.

3. Material & Quality Management

Check and verify plumbing materials, fittings, and fixtures upon delivery for compliance and condition. Maintain logs of material usage, wastage, and inventory. Ensure correct installation of PPR, PVC, CPVC, copper pipes, and related accessories. Oversee pressure testing, leak testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems.

4. Compliance & Safety

Ensure all works comply with local plumbing codes, regulations, and company standards. Enforce safety rules and ensure proper use of PPE among workers. Participate in site safety meetings, toolbox talks, and quality inspections.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily site reports, manpower records, and progress updates. Record inspections, test results, and sign-off requests for QA/QC engineers or consultants. Report issues, delays, or technical challenges to the Project/MEP Manager with recommended solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma/ITI in Plumbing, Mechanical, or related field. Minimum

5-8 years of experience

in plumbing works within interior fit-out or construction projects. Strong knowledge of water supply, drainage layouts, pump installations, and sanitary fittings. Experience working with modern pipe systems (PPR, PEX, HDPE, copper, etc.). Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings and shop drawings. Good communication and team management skills.
