Job Description
The
Plumbing Supervisor
oversees all plumbing installation and maintenance activities on construction sites.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, coordinate, and direct plumbing installation work on construction projects including piping, fixtures, drainage systems, and water supply systems. Review plumbing blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper implementation. Assign tasks and manage daily work schedules for plumbing teams. Monitor progress and quality of plumbing work to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local plumbing codes. Inspect plumbing installations and perform quality control checks. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plumbing installations or materials. Maintain accurate records of materials, labor hours, and work progress. Manage procurement of plumbing materials and tools, ensuring availability on-site. Conduct site safety inspections and enforce safety protocols. Report on plumbing activities, challenges, and progress to senior management.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and standards. Ability to read and interpret plumbing blueprints and technical drawings. Skilled in managing and motivating teams on site. Good understanding of construction processes and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
