The

Plumbing Supervisor

is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all plumbing activities including swimming pools on-site to ensure work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project requirements and local regulations. The supervisor will also lead a team of technicians and liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to support timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation to plan Plumbing installations.

2. Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of plumbing and Pool systems.

3. Coordinate daily site activities, ensuring optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.

4. Inspect and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitary fixtures; ensure proper functionality of DWV systems.

5. Monitor project timelines and maintain detailed progress reports, site logs, and performance records.

6. Ensure all site activities comply with health, safety, and quality standards as per local regulations and project specifications.

7. Diagnose faults and lead troubleshooting for plumbing and Pool installation and maintenance work issues.

8. Plan material and equipment needs; monitor inventory levels and order supplies as required.

9. Supervise subcontractors and site personnel; assign tasks, provide guidance, and evaluate team performance.

10. Ensure technical accuracy and high standards of workmanship across all Plumbing installations.

11. Handle on-site emergencies promptly and effectively.

12. Understand construction workflows, project sequencing, and resource planning.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1.

Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in plumbing works, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role within the construction industry.

2.

Education:

Diploma or certification in Mechanical/Plumbing or relevant technical trade from an accredited institution.

3.

Licensing:

Must possess a valid UAE driving license.

4.

Technical Expertise:

? In-depth knowledge of plumbing, and Pool systems.

? Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, Plumbing and Pool shop drawings, and schematics.

? Experience in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting Plumbing and Pool systems.

5.

Regulatory Knowledge:

Familiarity with UAE building codes, authority requirements, and industry best practices.

6.

Leadership & Communication:

? Strong supervisory, organizational, and time management skills.

? Ability to communicate effectively with teams, consultants, and clients.

? Capable of translating instructions into actionable site tasks with measurable results.

7.

Additional Skills:

? Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.

? Sound knowledge of construction sequencing, material handling, and quality assurance.

? Capable of identifying and resolving conflicts or issues on-site proactively.
