Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise daily plumbing and drainage work, ensuring proper installation of water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.

Review plumbing drawings, specifications, and method statements before starting work.

Allocate tasks to plumbers and helpers, ensuring efficient manpower distribution.

Inspect works regularly to ensure compliance with ADM, ADDC, ADCD, and UAE Plumbing Code requirements.

Ensure correct installation of pumps, water heaters, PPR/HDPE/PVC piping, drainage fittings, manholes, and sanitary fixtures.

Coordinate with Electrical, HVAC, and Civil teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth workflow.

Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide technical guidance to the team.

Raise Inspection Requests (IRs) and coordinate with consultants for approvals.

Monitor material usage and ensure availability of required plumbing materials at site.

Enforce safety procedures, including Permit-To-Work and general HSE practices.

Assist in testing and commissioning of plumbing systems such as pressure tests and drainage tests.

Prepare daily progress reports and update the Site Engineer/Project Manager.

Ensure cleanliness of work area and proper housekeeping after job completion.

Train and guide plumbers to improve skills, quality, and productivity.

Requirement:

Diploma in Mechanical/Plumbing or equivalent.

3-5 years UAE experience in plumbing and drainage works.

Good knowledge of ADM, ADDC, ADCD, and UAE Plumbing Code.

Ability to read drawings and supervise plumbers on site.

Strong coordination, reporting, and troubleshooting skills.

Candidates currently in UAE and ready to join immediately are preferred.
