Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plumber to join our sanitary ware and building materials company. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and sanitary ware products. The role also involves providing technical support to customers, ensuring correct installation of products, and assisting the sales and projects team with product knowledge and demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, sanitary fittings, and water supply lines.

Handle the installation of sanitary ware products such as water closets, wash basins, mixers, showers, bathtubs, urinals, faucets, and accessories.

Inspect plumbing systems, identify faults, and provide cost-effective repair solutions.

Test and ensure proper water flow, drainage, and leak-free connections.

Provide technical support to the sales team and customers regarding sanitary ware installation and product functionality.

Assist in site inspections and ensure installation meets company and industry standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues at customer sites, showrooms, or project locations.

Follow safety standards, local plumbing codes, and company guidelines.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in proper working condition.

Coordinate with warehouse/store for required materials and tools.

Prepare daily reports on work completed, issues found, and materials used.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/ITI certificate in Plumbing or related field (preferred).

Minimum 2-5 years of plumbing experience, preferably in sanitary ware/building materials industry.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and sanitary fittings.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation manuals.

Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Customer service orientation and communication skills.

Physical fitness and ability to work in different site conditions.

Work Conditions:

Based at warehouse/showroom with frequent visits to customer/project sites.

May require overtime and weekend work depending on project deadlines.
