Job Description
Position Summary
Seeking a skilled Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and piping infrastructure in water and wastewater treatment facilities. Responsible for ensuring efficient operation of treatment processes through proper maintenance of water distribution, sewage collection, and chemical feed systems.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair piping systems for water treatment, sewage collection, and chemical feed lines
Service pumps, valves, fittings, and flow control equipment in treatment facilities
Perform pipe welding, cutting, and joining using various materials (PVC, steel, cast iron, HDPE)
Troubleshoot and repair water distribution systems, sludge handling pipes, and process piping
Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing infrastructure and backflow prevention devices
Respond to emergency pipe breaks and system failures
Follow confined space entry and safety lockout procedures
Required Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma + completed plumbing apprenticeship program Technical school certificate in plumbing or pipefitting preferred
Experience:
3-5 years commercial/industrial plumbing experience Water/wastewater treatment facility experience preferred Experience with large-diameter piping systems and industrial pumps Background in pipe welding and various joining techniques
Certifications:
Valid Journeyman Plumber License OSHA 10-Hour Safety Training Backflow prevention certification preferred Confined space entry certification preferred Welding certification (pipe welding) preferred
Technical Requirements
Proficient in pipe installation, repair, and maintenance techniques Experience with various piping materials (PVC, steel, ductile iron, HDPE) Knowledge of pumping systems, valves, and flow control equipment Ability to read piping schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Familiarity with water quality standards and treatment processes Experience with pipe locating and leak detection equipment

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
