Plant Engineer (Production/Cutting/Quality)

Responsibilities

Head & manage daily production operations of factory including shop drawings, estimation, block production, recycling, CNC cutting, and special cutting. Reduce production costs by:
- Project Cost Planning and following the planned budget.

- Optimize the cutting process & eliminate overtime.

- Controlling EPS blocks density, size, & quality.

- Optimize cutting of EPS blocks with least wastage possible.

- Clubbing different sizes simultaneously.

- Mass Cutting to be balanced without risk on Factory according to customer and product nature.

- Utilizing cut/dead pieces prior to cutting new blocks.

Support Line Manager with the existing customers and provide proper training for CNC and machine operators. Provide new ideas and new products for the new lead customers

Monitor the Quality Team to achieve the below

Quality Control (Product)

Inspect Incoming Material Check each step of production process to make sure the process is as per standard. Final Inspection needs to be done before dispatching the material. Inspection of Ready Material should be as per the standard of ASTM C 578, BS EN 13163, ASTM D 6817, ASTM E 2430 & ISO 4898. Prepare samples for Customer & testing Purposes. Analyze the Customer complaint and closing the complaint Prepare Non-Conformity Report. In-House testing needs to be done. Prepare Yearly Calibration plan

QHSE

Follow ISO 9001 regulation. Follow the safety regulations as per OSHAD, ISO 450001 & 14001. Conduct Internal Auditing as per ISO 9001,45001,14001 & OSHAD. Conduct internal training for HSE. Prepare HSE Statistics report for each year. Prepare Incident Report. Prepare Risk Assessment for Projects and factory. Establish prevention programs to reduce incidents, accidents at work and occupational diseases. Conduct Fire drill regularly. Ensure pest control for insects, animals, and birds. Ensure the housekeeping. Prepare measuring and analyzing products and devices and check their conformity for calibration and operation. Monitor the workers PPE.

Documentation & Completing of all the documents related to Safety, PPE, QHSE, ISO, Quality compliance, etc.

Check the daily production reports. Complete all Incoming Material inspection and Final Inspection reports. Complete all QHSE related documents. Ensure all the documents have ISO Code as per QA/QC procedures. Arrange the documents for third party factory audit.

Qualifications:

BSc in Engineering. Preferably Industrial or Mechanical.

Experience in engineering and plant operations for at least 2 years
