Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Managed the day-to-day operations of block manufacturing machinery and equipment. Supervised preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficiency. Monitored production processes for concrete blocks, ensuring compliance with quality standards, mix designs, and customer requirements. Oversaw installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of heavy machinery, batching plants, and hydraulic systems. Implemented cost-effective solutions to reduce downtime, energy consumption, and material wastage. Coordinated with production and quality teams to achieve targeted output and maintain ISO/ASTM quality standards. Ensured compliance with safety regulations, conducted toolbox talks, and trained operators on proper equipment handling. Prepared technical reports, maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory plans.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of block manufacturing processes, machinery, and plant operations. Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations applicable to manufacturing plants. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Production Engineering or related field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in block/concrete manufacturing or similar plant operations. Experience in preventive maintenance planning, commissioning of machinery, and quality control procedures.
