Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Planning Manager to lead and manage the planning functions of our construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in construction planning, strong leadership capabilities, and proven experience in project scheduling and resource management.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other approved software. Monitor and track project progress, identify delays, and propose mitigation strategies. Coordinate planning activities with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams. Ensure that all planning and scheduling activities are in accordance with project objectives and contractual requirements. Prepare and present project reports, schedules, and updates to senior management and clients. Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with overall project timelines. Conduct delay analysis and assist with extension of time (EOT) claims when required. Manage planning documentation, including baseline schedules, progress updates, recovery plans, and look-ahead schedules. Lead and mentor junior planning staff and ensure compliance with best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Planning Manager in the UAE construction industry (preferably in Abu Dhabi). Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of project controls, construction methods, and engineering processes. Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and contractual procedures. Excellent communication and leadership skills. PMP certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Working Conditions:

Full-time position, based in Abu Dhabi. Work hours and site visits as required by project demands.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
