Role: Planning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of various construction projects. If you have a passion for civil engineering and project management, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects. As a Planning Engineer, you will manage project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timelines are met by collaborating with project teams and implementing effective solutions to address delays.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using advanced planning tools. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align project timelines with objectives. Analyze project progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions. Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, forecasts, and resource allocation. Ensure all planning activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and project requirements. Support the project team in decision-making by providing accurate scheduling data and analysis.

Duties

Conduct land surveying and construction inspection activities Develop and maintain project schedules Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely project completion Utilize CAD software for project design and planning Assist in project engineering tasks Employ ArcGIS and Civil 3D for mapping and design purposes

Experience

Required:

Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design purposes Experience in project scheduling and coordination Nice-to-have: Familiarity with ArcGIS for mapping applications Knowledge of Civil 3D software for civil engineering design. Previous experience in construction inspection and build projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Planning Engineer in the UAE construction industry. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar planning software. Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and resource allocation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Prior experience in UAE construction projects is highly desirable.
