Position Overview:

Al Marwan Construct is looking for a

Planning Engineer

with strong experience in

roads and infrastructure projects

to join our growing team in Sharjah. If you are detail-oriented, skilled in Primavera P6, and have hands-on planning experience in the UAE infrastructure sector, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Scheduling

Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project. Perform baseline scheduling, critical path analysis, and schedule updates. Identify delays and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor progress against baseline schedules and report variances. Prepare and present progress reports, forecast adjustments, and recovery plans.

Risk Management

Perform risk assessments and mitigation planning. Evaluate "what-if" scenarios to assess the impact of project changes.

Coordination & Communication

Work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors. Ensure resource allocation and project execution are aligned with plans. Attend meetings and provide planning-related inputs and reports.

Cost Control

Coordinate with quantity surveyors to track project budgets and costs. Support in forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Contract Management

Prepare and submit baseline schedules for approvals. Handle EoT claims and disruption analysis.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of planning experience in UAE

roads and infrastructure

projects. Proficient in

Primavera P6

and

MS Project

. Strong understanding of UAE construction codes and standards. Advanced skills in

MS Excel

; knowledge of

AutoCAD

is a plus. Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
