Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Review and provide engineering consent on contractors' baseline schedules in accordance with contract conditions and Parsons recommended practices
• Validate project resource allocation to support timely completion of infrastructure works
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules covering multiple work packages and their interdependencies
• Review progress updates and identify potential delays, critical path impacts, and schedule risks
• Conduct what-if and time impact analysis for variations, changes, and potential events
• Prepare monthly progress reports with schedule analysis, recovery recommendations, and milestone tracking
• Perform detailed assessment of delay and disruption claims, including extension of time using recognized delay analysis methodologies
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve planning and scheduling issues
• Participate in project meetings and provide clear planning inputs, records, and action tracking
• Establish and monitor progress measurement systems and key performance indicators
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project planning records and contemporary documentation
• Issue delay notices and performance correspondence related to schedule non-compliance

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling for infrastructure projects including roads, stormwater, sewerage, and utilities
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling software
• Solid understanding of contract administration and construction planning principles
• Ability to communicate clearly and present planning data to management and stakeholders
• Registration as a practicing engineer in Abu Dhabi or UAE equivalency certificate is preferred
