Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer to support project planning and control activities across our construction and environmental projects in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and assisting in the coordination of resources and timelines. This role plays a key part in ensuring on-time delivery and supporting effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. Track project progress against approved schedules and report variances or delays. Assist in identifying critical path activities, potential risks, and schedule impacts. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to gather schedule data and ensure accuracy. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and forecasting updates for management and clients. Support resource planning, sequencing, and allocation to optimize efficiency. Ensure planning and reporting deliverables comply with project specifications and company standards. Contribute to the improvement of planning processes and tools.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 3-6 years of proven experience as a Planning Engineer in construction, infrastructure, or environmental projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is essential. Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Effective communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams. Must be available for full-time, site-based work in Dubai. A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
