Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled

Planning Engineer

with expertise in

fit-out projects

and advanced proficiency in

Primavera P6

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring that all interior fit-out works are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with the project plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed project schedules using

Primavera P6

for commercial, retail, and residential

fit-out projects

. Monitor and track progress against the baseline schedule; update and revise as needed. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, highlighting delays, critical paths, and mitigation plans. Conduct time impact analysis for variations and changes in scope. Support the procurement team by linking material delivery timelines to the project schedule. Ensure all project planning and scheduling documents comply with contractual and company standards. Identify potential risks and delays and propose corrective actions. Coordinate with cost control and QS teams to align time and cost data for earned value analysis. Attend client and consultant meetings to present schedules, updates, and progress reports.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum

5 years of planning experience

, with a focus on

fit-out or interior projects

. Expert-level proficiency in

Primavera P6

is

mandatory

. Strong understanding of

fit-out construction processes

, including MEP, joinery, finishes, and design coordination. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent communication and reporting skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and work culture is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

PMP or PMI-SP certification (optional but a plus) Experience with AutoCAD or Revit (beneficial)
