Responsibilities:
? Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
Analyze project requirements and constraints to create realistic timelines and identify critical path activities.
Monitor project progress and performance against established schedules and milestones.
Identify potential risks and delays and propose mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to align schedules and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
Participate in project meetings to provide updates on schedule status and address any scheduling issues.
Continuously review and improve planning processes to optimize project performance and efficiency
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or similar role in the construction, engineering, or manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex scheduling problems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in scheduling.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus
