Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of projects within budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• - Develop project schedules and ensure they are aligned with project requirements and objectives
• - Monitor project progress and identify any potential delays or issues
• - Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop strategies to overcome challenges and meet project deadlines
• - Conduct regular site visits to gather information and assess project progress
• - Prepare progress reports and presentations for management and clients
• - Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• - Continuously review and update project schedules to reflect any changes or modifications
• - Utilize project management tools and software to track progress and identify areas for improvement
• - Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential risks
• - Mentor and train junior planning engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction or transportation industry
• - Extensive knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools
• - Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• - Experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
• - Knowledge of local regulations and standards related to construction projects in the UAE is preferred
