Job Description

Scheduling and Planning Process using Oracle Primavera P6 Professional Project Management tool, Resource loading and Cost loading, Report progress in completion of works and support Earned Value Management and Invoicing, Drafting contractual letters, change control management, variations and adjustments, FIDIC conditions, Program tracking and Analyzing, Maintain Baselines, Forecasting of Project Activities, Potential Risk Management and corresponding mitigation strategies, Risk Management process to ensure that risk is mitigated, monitored, managed and reported to the management, Time Impact Analysis and subsequent mitigation plan, Cost Claims, Delay Mapping, Contract Management, Value Engineering, Document Control and Management. Planning and Monitoring by evaluating any changes to the baseline and subsequent updated plans including recovery plans to meet the original baseline dates, Contracts Management, Valuations and Variations based on FIDIC, Progress Payments, Sub Contractor Evaluation, Resource Management, Cost Management, Cost Control, MIS report, Progress Meetings, Rate Analysis, Complete Tender Preparation and Submission, Control Estimate, Time Extension.
  • Having at Least 10 years of commercial, QS & Contracts experience in a Contracting Company.
  • Must have experience in Primavera.
  • Maintaining the project and coordinating with other teams in drafting the projects and the budget.
  • Facilitating in developing all project-related contract strategies and organizing the list of bidders and inviting the file for tenders.
  • Performing all clarifications for contracts meeting and coordinating with the project department and smooth functioning of the project.
  • Assisting the departments and evaluating various commercial and technical evaluations.
  • Execute proper contracts appreciation and ensure adherence to contractual conditions.
  • Identify risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Ensure timely & accurate work measurement, billing, certification and collection: Need to keep a track on interim payment schedule. Check the deductions (Taxes, Interests on advance taken) and advances (Material advance, Mobilization Advance etc.), Bank Guarantee expiry details etc.
  • Ensure identification, documentation and submission of claims & variations.
  • Ensure documentation and preparation for Dispute Review Boards & arbitration.
  • Draft contractual letters to get them approved by Project Manager and send them to Client, Subcontractors, Government bodies etc.
  • Finalize sub-contractor engagement.
  • Ensuring of various contemptuous records are correctly maintained by various departments as required in terms of the contract provisions.
  • Recording hindrances and rescheduling physical and financial milestones as per the delay analysis.
  • People Management skills- Coordination with different departments within the organization, client and subcontractors.
  • Convincing skills- Negotiate terms and conditions with client and subcontractors
  • Tracking and Monitoring of change in scope of works.
  • Drafting and review of Tender document.
  • Contract Formation, Administration and Management.
  • Claim Settlement and Management- Handling claims from Subcontractors for Extension of Time, Compensation for delays, extra cost etc. and preparing counter claim.
