Description

We are urgently hiring a Planning and Contract Officer, who has experience in Oil and the Gas industry, at least 5 years and who can join immediately. Position: Planning and Contract Officer Location: Abu Dhabi Timing: 8 hours/per day and 6 days a week A. Main Responsibility: As a Planning and Contract Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring the department and potential project's budget. Maintains optimally efficient inventory materials/service. Under direction generates reports about new programs, plans, and budget status. Review development proposals to ensure compliance with company relevant policies and procedures, supervise all general planning issues for the department. Provide a systematic, structured method to monitor contract performance. Participates in the development of contract risk assessments and risk management plans, including mitigating measures. Develops contract compliance checklists and implementation plans. B. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, or equivalent. B. Experience & Skills: 5 years of progressively responsible experience in contract/quality administration are required. Experience with MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) and/or ERP (Enterprise resource planning), e.g., SAP ECC (ERP Central Component), SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), or similar in support of scheduling, procurement, and/or logistics processes are desirable.

  • Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
C. Professional Certificate: a. Relevant professional certification, - Preferable b. Technical training or vocational certificate in Procurement and/or Contracts Management, such the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Level 4 diploma or similar is desirable.
