Planner / Scheduler

a) Planner must have at least 7 years of experience in Engineering Work in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining or Power Generation industry, of which at least 5 years have been performed as Planner / Scheduler.


b) Planner educational qualifications: Preferably Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering discipline or standards based qualification.


c) Planner must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of various process equipment


d) Planner must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of Scaffolding codes of practices and relevant British standards.


e) Planner must be able to read & understand isometric, PEFS and scaffolding design drawings.


f) Planner must be able to read, write and speak English (IELTS 5 Equivalent).


g) Planner must be able to Work with computers utilising Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.


h) Planner must be able to identify and request for the appropriate materials and equipment for larger jobs.


i) Planner must be able to prepare a 14 (fourteen) and 90 (ninety) day look-ahead Work plan with different level detail, using company SAP tool, for all the Works of the CONTRACTOR and interface with COMPANY planners.


j) Planner must be able to Work with Primavera P3E, Version 5 and/or 6 planning software packages. Must have experience with resource loading and scheduling to produce progress status reports.


k) Planner must be able to read isometric drawings for engineering repairs and small plant changes.


l) Planner must be able to prepare a detailed Work packs and plans for a small to medium shutdowns.


m) Planner must be able to produce progress reports and forecasts for company, stakeholders and team members
