Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

Piping Designer with Revit expertise

to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for creating and managing 3D piping models, preparing detailed piping layouts, and supporting the overall BIM coordination using Autodesk Revit. The role requires strong knowledge of piping systems in process and utility applications, along with Revit MEP proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop 3D piping models using Autodesk Revit based on P&IDs, equipment layouts, and engineering markups. Create isometric drawings, piping GA drawings, and spool drawings directly from the Revit model. Model process piping, utility piping, and HVAC piping systems with appropriate slopes, insulation, and supports. Coordinate piping routes with other disciplines (structural, electrical, HVAC) to avoid clashes and ensure proper layout. Conduct clash detection using tools like Navisworks and support BIM coordination meetings. Prepare piping material take-offs (MTO) and support the procurement team with bill of materials (BOM). Apply relevant industry standards (ASME, API, ISO) and client specifications during modeling. Maintain and manage piping families, templates, and Revit standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or relevant discipline. 6-8 years of piping design experience, with at least 2 years using Autodesk Revit MEP for piping. Strong understanding of industrial piping systems, valves, fittings, supports, and layout principles. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and optionally Navisworks, Plant 3D, or BIM 360. Familiarity with P&IDs, equipment layouts, and 3D coordination processes. Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred:

Experience in oil & gas, refinery, or heavy industrial projects. Knowledge of BIM Level 2 standards and ISO 19650 is a plus. Experience in LOD development and project delivery workflows.

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
