Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Electrical Revit Modeller

to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 3D models and detailed electrical drawings using Autodesk Revit, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. You will work closely with engineers and other discipline modellers to deliver coordinated and clash-free models.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and modify 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit based on design inputs and markups. Prepare detailed electrical layouts, single line diagrams (SLD), cable tray routing, lighting, earthing, and power layouts. Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, architectural, structural, etc.) for clash detection and resolution. Ensure Revit models are up to date and reflect design changes accurately. Generate shop drawings, BOQs, and schedules from the model. Apply industry codes, standards, and best practices in all modeling work. Collaborate with design engineers and BIM coordinators to meet project deadlines. Maintain proper file management and drawing documentation.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field. 8-10 years of experience in electrical drafting and modeling using Revit MEP. Strong knowledge of electrical systems in industrial/commercial buildings or oil & gas projects. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of Navisworks is an added advantage. Understanding of BIM workflows and LOD (Level of Detail) standards. Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred:

Experience working with international codes such as NEC, IEC, or British Standards. Familiarity with BIM 360 or similar collaborative platforms. Prior experience in EPC, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
