We are seeking a motivated and skilled

Piping Design Engineer

to join our client a multinational engineering company's Oil & Gas project team in Qatar. The successful candidate will support FEED and detailed engineering activities for both greenfield and brownfield projects, with a strong focus on offshore modifications. This role requires hands-on experience in E3D and AutoCAD software, along with knowledge of industry practices and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed design and construction drawings such as Plot Plans, Piping GADs, Key Plans, Isometrics, and Demolition drawings. Prepare procurement and construction MTOs from approved drawings and documents. Ensure design deliverables meet project objectives, quality standards, and applicable codes. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth execution of deliverables. Utilize E3D and AutoCAD software for 2D/3D design modeling. Apply knowledge of QatarEnergy, Shell DEP, and industry practices to ensure compliance. Support site-based construction and commissioning activities when required.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

from an accredited university.

6-10 years of relevant experience

in FEED and detailed engineering for oil & gas facilities (including offshore). At least

2-3 years' experience in offshore brownfield modifications

. Minimum

3 years of hands-on E3D modeling experience

and

5 years of AutoCAD experience

. Basic working knowledge of industry codes, tools, and standards (QatarEnergy / Shell DEP). Site-based construction and commissioning experience is an added advantage.
