Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipeline Designer to support the FEED (Front-End Engineering Design), Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design phases of offshore EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) projects. Based in the United Arab Emirates, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of high-quality design deliverables for subsea pipeline systems on major oil and gas developments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop pipeline design drawings and deliverables across FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design stages.
• Prepare pipeline routing layouts, alignment sheets, trenching and backfilling details, crossing drawings, tie-in and riser arrangements, and isometrics.
• Interpret engineering inputs (stress analysis, installation constraints, geophysical data) into accurate and constructible design outputs.
• Generate 2D and 3D models for subsea pipeline systems using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS/E3D).
• Produce design deliverables in accordance with project specifications, applicable international standards (DNV-ST-F101, ASME B31.4/8, ISO), and client requirements.
• Coordinate with pipeline engineers and other disciplines (e.g., structural, process, geotechnical) to ensure seamless integration of design deliverables.
• Support material take-offs (MTOs), bills of materials (BOMs), and input to procurement and construction documentation.
• Review vendor drawings and assist in responding to design-related queries from fabrication and installation teams.
• Participate in design reviews, internal quality checks, and ensure timely submission of deliverables.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Technical Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering field.
• 5-15 years of experience as a Pipeline Designer in offshore oil and gas EPCI projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design of subsea pipeline systems.
• Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and 3D modeling tools such as PDMS, E3D, or equivalent.
• Understanding of subsea routing, pipeline design constraints, seabed data integration, and installation requirements.
• Familiarity with international pipeline design codes and standards.
• Experience with major clients such as Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, or Qatar Energy is preferred.
