Key Responsibilities
Support pharmacists in safe and accurate dispensing of medications
Prepare, package, compound, and label medicines under pharmacist supervision
Receive, process, and fill prescriptions; ensure all orders are pharmacist-verified
Organize and maintain pharmacy inventory; monitor stock levels and expiry dates
Prepare sterile IV medications and extemporaneous formulations as instructed
Handle billing, insurance claims, and documentation of dispensed medications
Provide patients with basic medication instructions and direct advanced queries to the pharmacist
Maintain a clean, compliant, and organized pharmacy environment
Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
Follow DHA regulations, controlled-drug handling rules, and facility protocols
Engage fully in ongoing professional development and DHA-required training
Ideal Profile
Diploma or certificate in Pharmacy Technician program
Valid DHA license or eligibility
Fresh Emirati graduates may be considered
Knowledge of medication names, pharmaceutical calculations, and medical terminology
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Computer-literate with pharmacy systems experience
Good communication and patient interaction skills
