Mission GeneraleReports to: Managing Director Middle East, India and AfricaLocation: Regional office based in DubaiGeneral ResponsibilitiesThe Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing and developing the business activities in the following markets: India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Indian Ocean, African continent and hotel amenities.Objectives Develop the business activity and reach profitability objectives in the territory, in accordance to the brand guidelines and strategic objectives of la Maison HermasContribute with the team to the strategic commercial development. Principales activitesResponsibilities 1/ StrategyElaborate, implement and analyze the commercial strategy of the territory while collaborating with the Trade Marketing, Training and Merchandising teams. Select the investments necessary to the successful implementation of the strategy, taking into consideration the specifics of each market and each client2/ Develop business and partnership with clients Monitor and visit regularly markets and distributorsEngage with Brand Managers to build trustworthy and effective partnershipsEvery year, build market business plan, including market strategy, retail/wholesale and purchase projections, assortment, capex projects, trade plan and A&P and follow up with the Brand Manager on a quarterly basis. Negotiate over-investment, if applicableSet up regular meetings with key markets and business reviews on a quarterly basis (for key markets)Build strong acumen of market new developments and opportunities and make recommendations to MD and teamSet up price structure and negotiate contracts, if necessaryUnderstand specifics of the markets and coordinate with HQ teams any technical and regulatory requirements 3/ Marketing Build, along with MEIA Marketing Manager and local Brand Manager, detailed and impactful trade marketing plans within our budget constraintsFollow up POS animations within deadlines in collaboration with Marketing/Merchandising team 4/ VM Improve, in partnership with the distributor, and strengthen our footprint and our image through negotiations of optimum spaces within the flagships of the regionEnsure that the merchandising guidelines are respected in all generic and personalized stores 5/ Training Build in conjunction with MEIA Training Manager and local Training relays a yearly training plan making sure new comers and existing staff are trained on novelties and pillarsEnsure exclusive BA perfect grooming and engagementOrganize regular sales/motivation contests 6/ Forecasts Prepare and monitor forecasts. Pay attention to forecast accuracy 7/ Reporting Follow up monthly BP receipt monthlyCommunicate "best-practicesaEUR and track initiatives of competitors 8/ Budget Track expense budgetActively participate to budget processes 9/ Management Co-Manage a Business Planning & Analysis CoordinatorAnimate teams of exclusive BAs and Brand Managers 10/ Press & Influence Build with Brand Managers and Marketing Manager a dynamic Press/Influence plan in each local marketBe the Ambassador of "La MaisonaEUR if neededProfil du candidatProfile and Requirements Min 6-year prior experience in perfumes and cosmeticsExperience in ExportExcellent organizational, analytical and inter-personal skills. More than 500 employees work at our various sites in France (including Paris and the industrial site of Le Vaudreuil) and abroad. Our distribution extends to 15,000 points of sale throughout the world, including 450 Hermas stores and Hermas Fragrance and Beauty Personalised Spaces. An ambitious growth strategy featuring the development of the Beauty and the implementation of new distribution models and new industrial methods. Since it was founded in 1977, the industrial site in Le Vaudreuil (Eure) has been developing formulas and packaging, producing Hermas Fragrance and Beauty perfumes and associated scented products, and managing all the logistics and supply chain steps through to delivery at our clients. Approximately 260 employees currently work at the site.
