As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for catering to various duty-free customers across a particular region, developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with the sales team to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, and ensure that the company\'s sales targets are met. What you\'ll do:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts
  • Drive sales growth in the assigned region
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve company sales targets
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients
  • Forecast sales and develop strategies to achieve them
  • Plan and execute promotions and trade marketing activities
  • Participate, represent and attend events, conferences and trade shows
Who you should be:
  • Hardcore salesperson. A closer who knows how to respond to objections.
  • Proven experience as an FMCG Area Sales Manager or similar role, preferably in the travel retail industry
  • Strong knowledge of the duty-free market and customer base
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Experience in sales forecasting and trade marketing.
