Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative

Perfumer

to design and develop unique fragrances for use in perfumes. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of fragrance chemistry, excellent sensory skills, and a passion for olfactory artistry.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and evaluate original fragrance compositions for various applications. Collaborate with clients or internal teams to understand fragrance briefs and translate them into scent creations. Select raw materials and blend ingredients to achieve desired olfactory profiles. Conduct olfactory evaluations (smelling sessions) to refine and improve fragrance performance. Stay informed about market trends, new ingredients, and consumer preferences. Ensure fragrances meet safety, regulatory, and stability standards across different product bases. Maintain accurate records of formulations, modifications, and performance evaluations. Work with analytical and application teams to assess stability, compatibility, and longevity of fragrances.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a perfumer, ideally with formal training. Strong knowledge of fragrance materials (natural and synthetic) and blending techniques. Familiarity with fragrance industry regulations (IFRA, REACH, etc.). Creative mindset with attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Work location: Sharjah Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biochemistry, or related field. Experience in fine fragrance, personal care, or home care sectors. Knowledge of market-specific preferences and global fragrance trends.
