About the role





We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Performance Marketing Manager to manage performance marketing initiatives for Uber's Ride Hailing vertical across the MENA region. Based in Dubai and working closely with Uber global teams, this role will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition through data-driven, high-impact performance marketing campaigns. This role requires a strategic and analytical mindset to optimize marketing spend, enhance campaign performance, and deliver measurable growth for Rides. You will collaborate closely cross-functionally with teams to align campaigns with business objectives to drive growth for Ride Hailing.




What the candidate will do

Develop and execute performance marketing strategies to drive user acquisition via app installs for Uber Ride Hailing across MENA markets Oversee end-to-end performance marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including paid search, social, display, programmatic advertising, and app-based marketing platforms like DSPs Optimize marketing spend to maximize ROI and ROAS, leveraging advanced targeting, segmentation, and optimization techniques Design and implement A/B testing frameworks to iterate on campaign creatives, targeting methodologies, and channel strategies Collaborate cross functionally with other team to align on new user growth and convert briefs into actionable campaigns Provide transparent reporting and insights on campaign performance, including uplift, conversion rates, and key growth metrics Build a pipeline of performance marketing experiments, incorporating insights from customer behavior and market dynamics Support planning with accurate forecasting and performance projections

What the candidate will Need

Min 5 years of experience in performance marketing roles, preferably within ride-hailing, or app based businesses , e-commerce Proven expertise in managing large-scale performance marketing campaign spends across paid search, social media, programmatic, and app-based DSPs Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools with a deep understanding of key growth metrics Demonstrated expertise in integrating and navigating Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) solutions and managing and executing performance marketing campaigns. Highly analytical and data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing, optimization tactics, and campaign performance analysis. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to align with cross-functional teams. Media planning experience along with running digital awareness campaigns Proven experience driving growth in the MENA region, with a deep understanding of regional consumer behavior and digital media landscape is a must have.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on expertise in optimizing performance marketing campaigns and advanced targeting techniques In-depth knowledge of granular media channel targeting and attribution models Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Redash, etc) Strong understanding of creative formats, their effectiveness across digital channels, and best practices for channel-specific campaign execution * Fluency in Arabic, with the ability to develop and localize campaigns effectively for Arabic-speaking audiences
