The Position
Alshaya Group is seeking to appoint a People Transformation Manager to drive People Transformation projects across the organisation. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest and most respectable franchise operators.
In this role, the manager will be responsible for managing multiple People Transformation projects whilst developing, planning and deploying communications, change management and employer branding strategies to achieve full adoption of the transformation agenda while maintaining optimal employee engagement. Serving as a thought partner to senior HR leadership, the manager will provide insights to inform and support development of people and change strategies in alignment with Alshaya\xe2\x80\x99s overall business strategy.
Along with the Head of People Transformation and the wider People Function, the manager will play a key role in enabling the people transformation agenda to achieve Alshaya\xe2\x80\x99s broader organisational vision.
Job Purpose
Drive Alshaya\xe2\x80\x99s People Transformation projects though:
  • People Insights: Gathering people data and insights and performing analysis to inform and support the senior HR leadership in the development of people strategies
  • Project and Change Management: Managing projects within the transformation programme, driving optimal project performance through effective resource management, value management and governance
  • Communications and Branding: Drive effective change efforts through best-in-class communications and internal branding initiatives to achieve transformation agenda

Key Priorities and Accountabilities
Key priorities and accountabilities for the People Transformation Manager will include:
  • Coordinating and managing projects within the people transformation programme
  • Acting as thought partner to senior HR leadership, in strategy development
  • Managing the global HR calendar to ensure high impact execution of all projects
  • Supporting monthly HR leadership meetings, ensuring meetings consistently generate high value and serve the overall team vision
  • Ensuring optimal project performance through effective resource management, value management and governance
Organisational Development:
  • Rolling out the organisation-wide job family and competency framework; creating job families and skills matrix for each function of the organisation
HR Policies and Processes:
  • Overseeing HR policies, processes, and Level of Authority guidelines to ensure complete alignment with the ways of working of all relevant stakeholders
HR Systems:
  • Supporting and managing the implementation of HR systems and all associated initiatives to ensure seamless integration and adoption of new processes
  • Serving as point of contact for functional/divisional leaders and the wider community throughout all phases of the implementation
People Insights:
  • Conducting focus groups, along with other data and insights gathering initiatives to listen to, understand, and engage relevant stakeholders, simultaneously using insights gathered to shape strategy development and implementation approach
Communications:
  • Developing and delivering an internal communications strategy that effectively advances programme objectives and Alshaya\xe2\x80\x99s strategic vision
  • Curating communication content and forums to generate excitement, drive engagement, align stakeholders, and promote desired culture and values
  • Supporting with the development of senior leadership communication
Employer Branding:
  • Designing, planning and executing internal campaigns to boost Alshaya\xe2\x80\x99s employer brand amongst employees
  • Identifying appropriate platforms to promote Alshaya\xe2\x80\x99s employee value proposition, celebrate our people, and communicate programme
progress, milestone and successes:
  • Supporting relevant stakeholders (eg. Talent Acquisition) in communicating Alshaya\xe2\x80\x99s employer brand message effectively. This may include advising on and creating messaging content for job boards, job descriptions, career fairs and more
Change Management:
  • Driving effective implementation of change efforts, ensuring optimal alignment of initiatives and strategies to achieve lasting improvement, behavioural change and culture shift
  • Working closely with various stakeholders to provide support in change processes to facilitate effective adoption of the programme\xe2\x80\x99s transformation agenda

The Person
The successful candidate will possess the learning agility, resilience and gravitas to effectively work with diverse stakeholders in a matrixed, multinational organisation. He/she will be an effective collaborator with a track record in Organisational Development, Change Management and Communications who is capable of gliding seamlessly between the detail and the big picture, and similarly be comfortable operating in a complex and operationally intensive environment.
The successful candidate must be a team player with demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed objectives while working in collaboration with senior leadership and peers alike. This person will possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, along with the highest level of integrity in order to engage, inspire trust, and generate confidence in all stakeholders.
At the core, the successful candidate will have a passion for service and the resilience to lead in a highly operational, dynamic and competitive landscape. He/she will be culturally adaptable, unpolitical, and humble, with a passion for supporting organisational vision through driving best-in-class people transformation strategies.
Experience and Professional Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in an Organisational Development, Change Management, Branding and Communications role overseeing projects for a large multinational organisation spanning multiple markets
  • Deep understanding of human dynamics, along with demonstrated experience leveraging the understanding of human dynamics to inform the development and management of change strategies
  • Demonstrable understanding of employer branding, leadership branding, and public relations
  • Demonstrable understanding of Human Resources Management and HR systems
  • Flair for curating effective and impactful communication for a wide range of target audiences
  • Broad experience working with teams across a range of operationally intensive environments in a complex multinational and multicultural setting
  • Strong business and commercial acumen, with an understanding of the business context, including competitive pressures and market expectations, with proven ability to align and adapt strategies with business need
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (eg. Business Management, Human Resources Management, Organisational Psychology). Postgraduate degree preferred
  • Professional qualification in Project Management and/or Change Management (eg. PMP, CCMP)
  • Professional qualification in HR (eg. CIPD, SHRM)
