Your role

We are looking for a HR Manager for Saab in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). You will work in an international environment and you will be responsible for the local HR department and providing professional HR service to all Saab entities in the UAE. We are 140 employees today and growing. You will lead a team of 5 HR employees.

Your main tasks will be:

Provide leadership in people and organisational areas; adding value in taking strategic and operational business decisions

Support delivery of the people strategy within Saab UAE

Equip the organisation with right capabilities and drive talent and succession planning processes relevant to the business strategy and context

Actively participate in business planning and strategy development for the business in UAE and provide people strategy plans to support business goals

Act as a change agent and coach manager on how to handle change, engage employees and build capabilities effectively

Collaborate with global and local HR teams to develop the organization in terms of quality of talent and effective organisation design

Your profile

We believe you have:

A relevant university degree

Extensive HR Manager and/or Business Partnering experience, preferably in an international organisation

Required skills:

Strong business acumen, understanding of how the business agenda drives people imperatives and future organisational needs

A continuous improvement mindset, pro-active attitude and agility

Excellent interpersonal skills and effective relationship building across organisations

Ability to balance the strategic and the operational with strong implementation and drive for execution

Sound judgement and decision making

A passion for continuous learning

High energy, resilience and integrity

Please note that this position will have its primary location in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
