Position Overview
GMG in Dubai is hiring a People Specialist (Offboarding) to manage the complete employee exit cycle in alignment with UAE labor laws and internal HR policies. The role ensures accurate end-of-service processing, timely completion of legal formalities, and a smooth offboarding experience for all departing employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage resignations, terminations, retirements, and end-of-contract offboarding processes
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE Labor Law and GMG exit policies
  • Accurately calculate end-of-service benefits, final settlements, and statutory entitlements
  • Coordinate with payroll, finance, IT, and other teams for account closure and benefit deactivation
  • Prepare and issue exit documents including clearance forms, certificates, and NOCs
  • Conduct exit formalities and exit interviews where applicable
  • Maintain and update offboarding data in HR systems
  • Work with PRO/Government Relations to complete visa cancellation within deadlines
  • Generate reports on attrition, exit trends, and compliance performance
  • Support HR improvement projects focused on employee experience and process efficiency
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4-5 years of UAE HR operations experience with focus on offboarding
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, gratuity rules, and compliance requirements
  • Experience calculating EOSB manually and via HR systems
  • Knowledge of SAP or SuccessFactors is an advantage
  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and data handling skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal ability
  • Professional and confidential approach to sensitive HR matters
  • Strong time-management skills to manage multiple offboarding cases
