As an employee champion and change agent you will act as a catalyst for change and innovation and will facilitate organisational change by engaging people to understand the need to improve organisational effectiveness.
  • Support and drive HR strategy.
  • Cover the full spectrum of HR functions including Performance Management, Employee Relations, Succession Planning, Learning & Development, Reward & Benefits & Policy Development.
  • Develop and drive initiatives to enhance the people culture and engagement.
  • Develop and implement the talent pipeline development strategies to enable us to achieve our growth plan.
  • Provide timely and expert advice to the Executive Leadership team on employee relations matters as required.
  • Be willing to perform a hands-on HR Business Partner role without a team of junior HR staff supporting you.
  • Coach and develop the managers/team leaders in order to make them more effective in their roles.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration and assist the other members of the HR team as and when necessary.
What you'll bring to Speakol:
  • At least 4 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Communication is one of your greatest strengths. You are clear, concise and compelling in your written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to drive and deliver projects to completion.
  • You will be resourceful, independent and comfortable multitasking.
  • You will demonstrate high attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in your work.
  • You will have good MS Excel and Powerpoint skills and comfortable presenting and discussing .
  • Desire and ability to be to be hands-on while also strategic
  • Ability to quickly foster strong working relationships and become a trusted advisor.
