Job Description

To act as a trusted advisor to the management on all human capital management matters; to ensure a keen understanding of the business to implement HR strategies and practices that support robust business growth; reinforce a culture of performance focus, meritocracy, and diversity; and comply with HR policies.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Advise, coach, and provide trusted counsel to managers.
  • Support managers across the Company and ensure their engagement to all HR initiatives.
  • Coach managers and prepare and execute plans to improve performance.
  • Communicate organizational messages and monitoring feedback.
  • Implement HR plans and strategies.
  • Be dedicated to employee engagement and drive the initiative.
  • Act as change agent and facilitate change.
  • Translate the business strategy into action plans that gives the company competitive edge.
  • Create and propose improvements in HR to support agility and business excellent.
  • Support development initiatives required and liaise with the HODs and/or external providers to ensure appropriate initiatives are delivered.
  • Ensure development needs of key and high potential staff are identified and delivered.
  • Assess and analyse the business needs prior to advertisement
  • Support managers in the design of the job profile, technical assessment, and behavioural interview questionnaire.
  • Conduct competency-based interviews.
  • Support the development of the Technical Assessment bank.
  • Manage ER issues within the business units.
  • Support managers in creating a culture of employee engagement based upon CEQUENs values.
  • Ensure compliance with local law, HR policies throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Communicate and implement changes to HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure disciplinary procedure are properly applied
  • Play an active role in assessing MP requirements, prepare and review MP budgets and forecast.
  • Ensure annual manpower budgeting activity is conducted accurately and efficiently.
  • Review and reinforce internal controls and procedures
  • Ensure compliance of DOA, and provide leadership on process and governance.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and other requirements
  • Respond to ad hoc requirements as they arise
Requirements
  • Five years HR Generalist Experience
  • Previous experience as a HR Business Partner
  • Human Resource, Psychology or Business Management Degree
  • CIPD qualification desirable
  • Knowledge/awareness of Labour law of the country
