Job Summary:

We are looking for a

compassionate, DHA-licensed Pediatric Nurse

to join our growing healthcare team. The Pediatric Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in line with

DHA regulations

. The role may involve working in

clinical settings or home environments

, offering both routine and acute pediatric nursing services.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide

age-appropriate nursing care

for pediatric patients (newborns to adolescents). Perform

initial assessments

, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and track development milestones. Assist physicians during pediatric examinations, vaccinations, and minor procedures. Educate families on

disease prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and care plans

tailored to children's needs. Maintain

accurate documentation

of care plans, medications, and interventions via EMR systems as per DHA standards. Respond to

medical emergencies

, applying pediatric-specific BLS protocols. Provide

emotional support

to children and their families, ensuring a child-friendly and stress-free care environment. Monitor for signs of

abuse or neglect

and report according to UAE child protection laws. Coordinate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

(BSN) from a recognized institution.

Valid DHA license

or eligibility as a Registered Nurse. Minimum

2 years of experience

in Pediatric Nursing (hospital, home care, or clinic). Certification in

Pediatric Basic Life Support (PALS)

or willingness to obtain it. Proficiency in

electronic medical records (EMR)

and documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication in

English

; Arabic is a plus.

Desired Skills:

Strong knowledge of

child development, immunizations

, and pediatric medication dosages. Kind, patient, and emotionally intelligent with excellent

bedside manner

. Able to handle

emergencies calmly

and effectively. Comfortable educating and supporting parents or guardians.

Working Conditions:

May require travel for

home healthcare services

weekends or holidays

depending on patient needs. Environment may include

homes, clinics, or pediatric care centers
