Role Purpose
As a Payroll Specialist at CASA PONS, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while maintaining precise employee attendance, leave, and salary-related records. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and close monitoring of payroll data in alignment with UAE labor regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compensation Management:
Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee compensation data.
Calculate salaries, overtime, deductions, allowances, penalties, and end-of-service benefits.
Ensure payroll calculations align with attendance, leave records, and approved adjustments.
Attendance, Leave & Timekeeping
Generate monthly attendance and leave reports for payroll processing.
Monitor daily attendance, time-in/time-out records, absences, and late arrivals.
Maintain and update annual leave, sick leave, unpaid leave, and other leave balances.
Salary Advances & Deductions
Maintain and update the salary advance tracker.
Coordinate with Finance for accurate reconciliation of advances.
Ensure all advances and deductions are properly approved, recorded, and reflected in payroll.
HR & Payroll Records Management
HR Compliance & Reporting
Prepare payroll, attendance, and cost reports for management review.
Ensure all payroll-related data is well-organized, updated, and audit-ready.
Maintain accurate payroll files, employee records, and supporting documentation.
Support internal audits by providing payroll reports and documentation when required.
Ensure payroll and attendance practices comply with UAE Labour Law and company policies.
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent communication skills in English.
Strong background in Payroll, Accounting, or Finance.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proven expertise in attendance systems and payroll calculations.
High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in Payroll / HR Payroll is mandatory.
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting).
