Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries, benefits, and related payments in line with approved payroll calendars and KPIs
  • Manage regular and off-cycle payroll runs, including final settlements and special payroll adjustments
  • Ensure payroll operations comply with all applicable local, regional, and international laws, tax regulations, and internal bank policies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statutory payroll requirements and implement process updates as regulations change
  • Prepare, review, and submit statutory payroll reports to relevant authorities, including pension funds, social security, and tax bodies
  • Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions and payroll-related payments
  • Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Prepare and deliver standard and ad hoc payroll reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR leadership, Finance, and regulatory stakeholders
  • Provide accurate payroll insights to support decision-making, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience managing payroll operations within a large organization, preferably in banking or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, statutory reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Experience handling payroll data analysis, reporting, and dashboards
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain confidentiality at all times
