Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Lead to set up and process payroll. This role ensures payroll accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and process improvements while serving as the point of contact for escalated payroll issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, HR, or finance. 3+ years of payroll experience Proficiency in any payroll CRM/systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and approve payroll batches before final submission. Manage complex payroll adjustments, including retro pay, garnishments, and benefit deductions. Serve as the first point of escalation for payroll discrepancies. Maintain compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and tax filings. Work with HR and Finance to resolve cross-department payroll concerns. Implement payroll process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Track and report on payroll KPIs to management. Supervise and mentor payroll admins, providing regular feedback and training.
