The Junior HR Payroll Officer is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll and supporting HR-related functions. This role ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies, maintains employee records, and provides support in HR administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and processing monthly payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain and update employee records related to payroll, attendance, leave, and benefits.
Review and verify time sheets, work hours, overtime, and deductions.
Handle payroll-related queries from employees.
Assist with the processing of employee benefits such as leave, gratuity, and end-of-service calculations.
Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
Assist in preparing payroll reports and summaries for management review.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
1- 3 years of experience in HR or payroll.
Basic knowledge of payroll systems and labor regulations.
Proficient in MS Excel and HRIS/payroll software.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in UAE payroll processing (is a plus).
Familiarity with WPS (Wage Protection System) and end-of-service benefits under UAE Labor Law.
