Produce a monthly basic pay reconciliation vs. previous month
Compute and ensure the accuracy of the payroll register and submit to Director of Finance, Director of Human Resources and General Manager for approval
Prepare the bank salary transfer and / or manual payroll cheques then submit to Director of Finance and General Manager and for approval
Prepare the final settlement of leaving colleagues correctly and release the payment on time
Prepare monthly journal entries and submit to Chief Accountant / Assistant Director of Finance latest by the first day of the month
Print and distribute pay slips after payroll has been debited from the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s bank account
Track and maintain the outstanding vacation and lieu days, then regular reconcile with HR records
Maintain the payroll system and make recommendation for improvements
Have a thorough knowledge of the contents of all payroll related Policies & Procedures
Manage Finance duty roster, attendance files as well as training & personal records of the Finance departments as well as general secretarial duties
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management and/or Accounting
Minimum of 2 -3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar capacity as Paymaster in a hotel and with at least 1-year experience in other finance functions
Excellent knowledge of Payroll System (Oasys)
Familiarity with Accounting System (SUN System)
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office mainly excel
