The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay, a pre-opening cluster of hotels, is looking for an experienced Paymaster cum General Cashier to join their extraordinary team!

Conveniently located in the heart of Dubai\xe2\x80\x99s Business Bay area, home of the Burj Khalifa! Minutes away from The Dubai mall, renowned Jumeirah Beach, and with convenient access to all of Dubai\xe2\x80\x99s world leading tourist attractions. The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay will include 280 hotel rooms as well as 120 one- and two-bedroom apartments, convenient F&B offerings & meeting and events facilities. YOUR DAY TO DAY As Paymaster cum General Cashier, under the guidance of Director of Finance, you will be responsible to to assist with installation of the payroll system. In addition regular duties will comprise of preparation of monthly payroll in coordination with Human Resources, reconciliation of payroll and verify new hire data inputs, change of status, one time payments, overtime, deductions, process leave applications, process vacation travel payment, salary advance requests, etc. Assist Human Resources and Department Heads for timely and accurate time and attendance of all employees. Incharge of General cashier duties such as General Cashier report, income JV, preparation, posting and updating standard journal vouchers and adjustment journal voucher entries at the month end, such as \xe2\x80\x93 Prepaid expense, operating provisions, payroll, payroll accruals, general stores issues, engineering store issues, reconciliation of food & beverage cost, accruals, provisions, allocation of expense etc.Preparation of bank reconciliation statement.Review General Ledger at month end, and analyze expenses and major variations from the budget. A hospitality experience of at least 3 years in a similar role, preopening experience is a must. A Diploma/ Certificate in Finance or Commerce is preferred.
