Job Description

We are looking to hire a detail-oriented Payroll & Accounting Executive with strong Excel expertise, and solid experience in payroll processing, asset management, cost accounting, and financial controls, preferably within contracting or multi-entity environments.Key ResponsibilitiesAsset ManagementManage asset capitalization, coding, and system linkingPerform depreciation runs and maintain fixed asset registersHandle asset additions, transfers, and disposals with proper documentationMaintain asset insurance schedules and compliance recordsCash, Bank & Treasury ManagementManage physical cash and petty cash operationsPerform cash and bank (finance house) reconciliationsRecord bank and finance house transactions accuratelyImplement centralized cash controls and perform periodic analysisWorkforce & Payroll AccountingCollect payroll data from engineers, HR, site timekeepers, and site accountantsAnalyze overtime, attendance, and workforce costsPrepare payroll, salary payments, advances, leave salary, and final settlementsBudget monthly fund requirements and coordinate salary disbursementsManage employee advances, deductions, fines, and recoveriesExpense Accounting, Costing & AmortizationRecord expenses against correct cost codes and projectsPerform project-wise allocation and activity-based costingCreate provisions for leave salary, gratuity, and employee benefitsRecord accruals and amortize prepaid expenses (rent, insurance, etc.)Identify and process related-party transactions as guided by auditorsAudit & Compliance SupportSupport internal and external auditsPerform cost checks, report verification, and cross-check system outputsIdentify variances, investigate discrepancies, and ensure corrective actionsSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processesExperience in multi-company accounting environmentsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (Expert level) including:Complex formulas and reconciliationsInterlinked sheets and reportsAutomated payroll & MIS reportsProficiency in accounting systemsStrong analytical, reconciliation, and documentation skillsHigh level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detailQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldRelevant accounting experience, preferably in contracting / multi-entity environments2-4 years of hands-on payroll processing experienceStrong knowledge of payroll systems, Excel, and accounting softwareFamiliarity with WPS / SIF file preparation and bank coordinationAbility to meet strict deadlines and handle confidential data
