Prepare and process payroll cycles (monthly/bi-weekly) for all employees
Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, overtime, allowances, and deductions
Verify employee attendance, timesheets, and leave records from HR systems
Taxation & Compliance
Calculate and file payroll-related taxes, social security, and other government contributions
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax codes, and internal audit policies
Generate payroll reports for finance and regulatory audits
Employee Relations & Support
Address payroll inquiries from employees and provide timely resolutions
Coordinate with HR on new hires, terminations, promotions, and compensation changes
Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information
Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain accurate payroll records, contracts, and bank transfer documentation
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll summaries
Assist in annual audits and end-of-year tax reporting (e.g., W-2, 2316, etc.)
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2-4 years of experience in payroll accounting or general accounting
Strong understanding of payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Zoho Payroll)
Knowledge of tax laws, labor regulations, and statutory benefits in [Insert country]
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools
High attention to detail, integrity, and numerical accuracy
Discreet and professional in handling sensitive information
