We are looking for a Payment Settlement Assistant to join our team at IIQAF. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the Director of Settlements in the day-to-day operations, including settlement activities, post-settlement disbursement activities, reconciliations, and other administrative functions for our customers\xe2\x80\x99 accounts. Responsibilities:
Using a variety of payment systems to process payments and complete settlements by the required deadlines
Assisting with post-settlement disbursement activities to ensure accurate account balances
Creating periodic management reports for the Treasurer
Reconciling accounts based on daily cash activity
Generating statements and issuing payments to customers
Establishing and maintaining records in accordance with our established policies
Fielding customer inquiries and resolving customer complaints
Investigating discrepancies in account balances
Providing support to other departments for payment-related activities
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
2 Years of experience in banking/settlements/ payments industries
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Solid analytical and problem solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, databases, and other office software
Understanding of financial data and concepts
Knowledge of payment systems and procedures
Understanding of principles and practices of accounting
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with accounting and financial principles/processes
